Salah: PDP Stakeholder Donates Food Items, Cash To Over 1,000 Party Supporters in Okene

Members and supporters of the People's Democratic Party PDP in central Senatorial District of Kogi State have been charged to remain steadfast in their prayers for the state and Nigeria even as the fasting period is coming to an end.

The Leader of the Kogi Central PDP Young Stakeholders and a PDP stalwart in Okene LGA Hon. Alaba Iliyasu Salihu gave the charge during the presentation of food items and cash donations at Otutu Ward as part of his support for his Constituents in preparation of the sallah celebration.

While speaking on the reason for their gathering, Hon. Alaba Iliyasu Salihu said asides bringing them together to share the love of the season with them,  they are gathered to review the party's strategy and success of the General elections and the just concluded Governorship primary election.

According to him "We are here gathered here to reach out to our people who are observing the ongoing Ramadan  fast and to use the avenue to reassure you of the impending Victory of Barr. Natasha Apoti- Uduahan in  reclaiming her Senatorial Mandate at the election tribunal. We also have to map out strategies for winning the Governorship election for the party through our Candidate, Senator Dino Melaye in the November Governorship elections in the state".

He described Senator Dino Melaye as a true bread Okene Boy because he spent his earlier years in life at Okene town and Attended his secondary School at the highly rated AbdulAziz Attah Memorial College Okene ( AMCO) and ever since he has always relates with the people of Kogi Central just as a bonafide son of the soil.

Hon Alaba Salihu noted that they are not deterred by the temporary set back occasioned from the hijacked of the Senate seat by the ruling party saying that the overwhelming evidence before the election tribunal would be a great tool to cede back to the rightful owner Barr Natasha Apoti- Uduahan, the Kogi central senate seat.

He disclosed that the PDP in central Senatorial District is poised to deliver  maximum votes for Senator Dino Melaye to emerge as the next governor of Kogi State
