JUST IN: PDP Stakeholder Dumps party for APC in Kogi

 


 


 

Ahead of the rescheduled Governorship and state assembly elections in Nigeria, A PDP Chieftain Mopamuro Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Ojuola Babatunde popularly known as Admiral has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party PDP for the ruling All Progressives Congress APC.

In a decamping ceremony that took place in his ward, Ward 06 Mopamuro, Hon. Ojuola decried the level of neglect and marginalization that he suffered with his supporters when they were members of the PDP.

He further  explained that the way and manner through which the Governor carries the youths along in the decision-making process as well as the reward system in Kogi APC are parts of the reasons that prompted him to join the ruling party.

 While receiving Ojuola and His Supporters, the ward leader and the Executive Vice Chairman of Mopamuro LGA, Hon. K.K Dennis and Hon. Bukola Obajemu assures the decampees of a better place in their new party and their decision of joining the party will not the regrated.

Komolafe enjoined the new members to work wholeheartedly to ensure the victory of their House of Assembly Candidate in the forthcoming State Assembly election adding that the level of their involvement in the Assembly election will show their capacity and genuineness in joining the party.

While presenting a broom which is the symbol of the party to the new members, the Chairman of the Party in Mopamuro Ward 06, Hon. Kehinde Folorunsho thanked them for taking the decision to join the party at a time when the election is around the corner. He appealed to them to also input more energy to work for the party and expect their reward soon.

Also speaking at the event, Hon. Olushola Ologe advised members of the party to make use of the postponement of the election to canvass support for the House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. Samuel Olawumi Jacob.
